Integration: Charles Schwab

What integrating with Schwab does for you

Integrating with Charles Schwab connects client information in Charles Schwab to a client in RightCapital. Once integrated, RightCapital pulls in position-level account data from each account and connects them with the client's net worth. The positions and values will be updated Monday through Friday evening with the previous night's closing value.

How to set up your Schwab integration

To set-up an integration with Schwab:

1

Log into the Schwab Advisor Center and click on the Forms and Applications tab.

2

Within the search titles field, search for the 'Request for Data Access Agreement' form.

3

Fill out the template that populates.  For the Service Provider information please list:

Service Provider Name: Choose "Other", then enter "RightCapital"

Authorized Signer: RightCapital

Email of Authorized Signer: Support@RightCapital.com

4

The Charles Schwab Platform Operations Team will then draft a DocuSign Agreement for you to e-sign within 1-2 business days.  A copy of the signed Agreement will be sent to RightCapital for processing on our end.

5
You will receive an email from RightCapital Support when your integration is setup and ready for use.

Note

The whole process usually takes 3-5 business days.

The master account(s) for data setup must be created before submitting the request.

How to use the Schwab integration

Once the integration is set up, link client accounts:

1

Log in to RightCapital

2

Click Open Client next to the client you’d like to integrate

3

Navigate to Profile > Net Worth (or the 4th step of the initial data entry workflow, if this is a new client)

4

Click + Link Account and select "Schwab" from the dropdown menu.

Note

This button only appears if an integration has already been established

5

Search for the client's name from the integrating database

6

Select accounts (using the check boxes in the “Link” column) to assign to the current client.
