Notification Center

RightCapital's notification center keeps you informed of key events for each client and facilitates your ability to deliver an unmatched client experience.

Accessing the Notification Center

To access the notification center visit the Advisor Portal > 🔔 > Notification area. The notification center allows advisors to view various client alerts in a centralized location within the advisor portal. This area includes notifications that are sent within the daily notification email.

Notifications

Each RightCapital advisor receives daily summary emails that include notifications on client onboarding, client activities, and more. The notification center organizes these alerts by date and can be filtered by client or category for easy prioritization.

The notification categories include:

  • Client Onboarding: Receive notifications when a client signs up via an invitation link, when a client signs up via the Leads URL, or when a client completes the six steps of data entry.
  • Client Activities: Receive notifications when a client updates profile information (Family, Income, Savings, Net Worth, Expenses, Goals)
  • Client Task: Receive notifications when clients complete a task or when a client updates a task.
  • Vault Activity: Receive notifications when clients upload or download files from the shared vault.
  • Advisor Task - New: Receive notifications when new tasks are assigned to advisor.
  • Advisor Task - Due Soon: Receive notifications for tasks due (today, in one week, or in two weeks).
  • Advisor Task - Overdue: Receive notifications when a task is overdue (one week overdue or one month overdue)
  • RightIntel Alerts (premium and platinum subscribers only): Receive notifications when key life events occur.

Notification Settings

The Notification settings provide advisors more control over the notifications that appear in the notification center as well as in their daily report email and direct notification emails. This area is found within the Advisor Portal > Bell Icon > Notification Settings tab.

Onboarding

Onboarding-related notifications are received when a client signs up for their portal using an invitation link, when a client signs up via the Leads URL, or when a client completes the six steps of data entry.

The Notification Settings allow you to control whether these updates are sent in a direct email, included in the daily summary email and included in the notification center.


Vault

Vault related notifications are received when clients upload or download files to the shared vault. Use these settings to determine whether task reminders are included in the daily summary email and the notification center. Direct email reminders are not available for vault notifications.


Client Activities

Notifications focused on client activities are received when clients complete a task, when clients update a task, and when clients update their information. Clients update information within their client portal under the Profile > Family, Income, Savings, Expense, Goals, and Net Worth areas.

Use these settings to determine whether client activity reminders are included in the daily summary email and the notification center. Direct email reminders are not available for client activity notifications.

Client Activities Pro Tip
All client activities within the last 4 weeks can be viewed at any time within the RightIntel > Client Overview > Activities tab.

Tasks

Task related notifications are received when advisor's tasks are assigned, due soon, or are overdue. Use these settings to determine whether task reminders are included in the daily summary email and the notification center. Daily reminder emails are sent around 11:00 am ET. Direct email reminders are not available for task notifications.

As a default, all three boxes are checked in the when my tasks are "due soon" notification setting. Therefore users receive 3 notifications if tasks aren't completed by the due date. Task reminders can also be sent when tasks are overdue.

Similarly, clients can control notifications by logging into their Client Portal and navigating to ⚙️ > Notifications.

RightIntel Alerts

RightIntel Alert Notifications are available for Premium and Platinum subscribers. RightIntel alerts include when clients reach retirement, Social Security filing age, Medicare filing age, Age 50 (catch-up contributions), age 59.5 (penalty-free withdrawals, and reached required minimum distribution (RMD) age.

Use this setting to determine whether RightIntel alert reminders are included in the daily summary email and the notification center. Direct email reminders are not available for RightIntel alert notifications.
