Client Experience: Email Notifications

Clients who have been invited to access their RightCapital plans have full control over the notification emails that they receive from RightCapital. Below is an overview of what these notifications look like from the client side, as well as where clients can go to update their notification settings within the client portal.

Where to Update Notification Settings

Invited clients can update their notification settings by logging into the client portal, and navigating to the Gear Icon > Notifications tab. Do note that as the advisor, you will not have access to this area. Client notification settings can only be accessed and adjusted on the client side:
As the advisor, you have the ability to set your client notification presets within the Advisor Portal > Client Settings > Notifications tab. These will determine what options are selected here by default for new clients. After creating a plan and inviting the client, that client will have full control over the notification settings going forward.

Email Notification Preview

Clients can choose to receive email notifications for things like tasks, vault uploads, and risk assessment questionnaires. When these events occur, clients will receive notification emails based on their selections. These emails will be delivered from the address no-reply@rightcapital.com, and will be addressed to the client. Your name and firm name will be displayed at the bottom of the email:
If you have uploaded a logo or adjusted the color theme within the Advisor Portal > Gear Icon > Account > Customization area, the banner at the top of the email will reflect your custom logo and colors.
