RightCapital Notes & Tasks in Redtail - RightCapital Help Center

For advisors that have the Redtail integration enabled, RightCapital notes and tasks for linked households will be visible within Redtail. This enables greater interconnectivity between RightCapital and your CRM, empowering you to more easily track client progress and plan details.

A "linked household" is a client household that has been imported from Redtail into RightCapital, establishing a link between the two platforms. For instructions on importing households from Redtail into RightCapital, click here.

How to View RightCapital Notes in Redtail

Once a note is entered in RightCapital, the note will automatically display on both the advisor dashboard and the client’s page in Redtail. Additionally, if a note is deleted in RightCapital, the note will also be deleted in Redtail. Any updates made in Redtail will not sync back to RightCapital.

How to View RightCapital Tasks in Redtail

Once a task is entered in RightCapital, the task will automatically display on both the advisor dashboard and the client’s page in Redtail. Additionally, if a task is updated or deleted in RightCapital, the update will also be made in Redtail. Any updates made in Redtail will not sync back to RightCapital.

For advisors integrated before this functionality was released (April 16th, 2025), only newly created notes and tasks will sync between Redtail and RightCapital. Notes and tasks created before this date will not be retroactively synced.

Disable Note Syncing

To stop syncing RightCapital Notes to Redtail, navigate to the Advisor Portal > Integrations > Redtail and toggle off "Send Notes to Redtail."

This will prevent any new notes from syncing to Redtail. Existing notes that have already been synced will remain visible and will not be removed.

Disable Task Syncing

To stop syncing RightCapital Tasks to Redtail, navigate to Advisor Portal > Integrations > Redtail and toggle off "Send Tasks to Redtail."

Disabling this setting will stop future tasks from syncing, but all previously synced tasks will still be visible and will not be deleted.
