What integrating with Capitect does for you

Integrating with Capitect connects client information in Capitect to a client in RightCapital. Once integrated, RightCapital pulls in position-level account data from each account and connects them with the client's net worth. The positions and values will be updated Tuesday through Saturday evening with the previous night's closing value. It also pulls in bank account, credit card, and loan balances.

Contact information from Capitect is not synced; utilize a CRM integration and then connect the Capitect information.

How to set up your Capitect integration

To establish your integration with Capitect advisors will need to establish their 'Capitect ID' and 'API key' with the following steps:

Log in to Capitect

From the navigation bar, select Integrations and then API Keys

Select 'Add'

Select 'Create API Key' for Right Capital

Copy the 'Capitect ID' and 'API Key' to paste into Right Capital
Once you have the Capitect ID and API Key

Log in to RightCapital

Go to Integrations > Capitect

Enter the Capitect ID and API Key, and click 'Connect'.

How to use the Capitect integration

Once the integration is set up, to link client accounts:

Log in to RightCapital

Click Open Client next to the client you’d like to integrate

Navigate to Profile > Net Worth (or the 4th step of the initial data entry workflow, if this is a new client)

Click +Link Account and select "Capitect" from the dropdown menu.

This button only appears if an integration has already been established

Search for the client's name from the integrating database

Select the client from Capitect (using the check boxes in the “Link” column) to assign to the current client in RightCapital.

Click Save to create the connection for the accounts selected. Integrated accounts will then appear under the Investment bar on the left side of the Net Worth screen.
