The Strategy tab of RightCapital's Student Loan module shows a visual path to advanced repayment or loan forgiveness. This is a great place to begin exploring the Action Items and the impact that various adjustments may make to the overall student loan repayment plan. You can access the Student Loan module within the "..." More Menu > Debt tab of each client plan:
The flowchart in the Strategy tab allows you to better visualize what type of approach may work best for a client, given their situation. This page excels at breaking down your proposed strategy in a way that is easy for clients to understand:
Once a proposed payment plan has been selected within the Action Items, the client's path will be highlighted in the Strategy flowchart. If they plan on working in public service, the top flowchart can show the best IDR options based on their priorities. If they plan on working in the private sector, the bottom flowchart will highlight whether they are prioritizing lower monthly payments or a faster debt paydown.
