Understanding Questionnaire Scores

RightCapital's Risk module and client-specific risk analysis allow you to create and assign risk assessment questionnaires for clients to complete. After a risk assessment has been completed by a client, the risk assessment score will be visible within the Investment > Risk > Score & Assessment tab of their client plan:
Questionnaire scores are always calculated on a scale of 1-100, regardless of the scale used when creating the questionnaire. The maximum possible score total of your questionnaire will always translate to a maximum risk score of 100. All other possible scores will be calculated relative to the maximum.

Example #1: If a questionnaire has a maximum possible score of 50, and your client scores a 36, they will receive a risk score of 72.
  • 36/50 = 72/100

Example #2: If a questionnaire has a maximum possible score of 150, and your client scores a 36, they will receive a risk score of 24.
  • 36/150 = 24/100
