Why do I not see anything when I open the student loan tab in the dashboard?

Answer: Before using the student loan module you will need to enter the detailed information about the student loan within the Profile > Net Worth section. The dashboard will only become visible when student loans are present within the financial plan.


Can I import my client's student loan information?  

Answer: Yes, student loans can be imported into a RightCapital plan by either using the account aggregation feature or through a connected integration.   


Why do my client's student loans show a balance throughout the entire plan? 

Answer: This would indicate an error within the data entry process. This is likely due to not inputting a value for the standard 10-year payment plan as many income driven repayment plans are capped at this value. If the Standard 10-year payment is set to $0, the income-based repayment plans will be capped at that amount. 


Does RightCapital automatically calculated income driven repayment plan payments as the client's AGI shifts over time?

Answer: Yes, RightCapital will adjust the IBR payments over time based on the client's income, filing status and residence state poverty guidelines.
